I have just discovered i have mice in my house i am horrified i have been told by a number of people it is because i have a rabbit outside and guinea pigs in the house i keep all my food and piggy things in containers and am very clean were my animals are conserned can anyone tell me the quickest way to get rid of them and do any of you animal lovers out ther suffer this problem and if so how do you deal with it. Thanks in advance from one desperate guinea lover who is in need of help.

Mice poison thing, We had that but ours was outside.

Hope you get rid of them. You should get a tempoary cat :P

I just found one too! I think it came in where the hose for the washing machine goes out of the wall as there is a bit of a gap. I've heard they often try to get indoors when the weather starts to turn...it's nothing to do with pets and cleaning etc. I've blocked all the entrances into the house in the hope that the mouse goes back out the hole...

I think it's an old wives tale that piggies and rabbit's cause mice and rats,if you don't want to put poison down you can get humane traps in B@Q

If u want to catch it using a humane trap chocolate is the best lure or a bit of toast with jam on (anything sweet) you will have to take mouse some miles away as it will just come back in.

we discovered a mouse in my bf's house last night, it was sat behind the veg rack..and the dog gets fed in front of the veg rack so I'm assuming its taking the dogs food!.. we tried to get it out but its soooo fast and tiny its impossible it ran past my bf and went under his fridge, so we left it..dunno what hes gunna do about it!

The trouble is they can do soooooooo much damage! they may be small but beware!
