Mini G and Ginny (my Ginger army piggy!) all settles in!

Well Ginny has been with us for over a month now and the girls are great!
MiniG loves having a friend (even though she does strop about it sometimes!)

Thought I'd share with you some piggy pictures I have on my phone and once I'm on my laptop later I did a little photoshoot session last week so will share those pictures with you too)!

As the digital scales were out in the kitchen I just took the oppurtunity to weigh the girls.

All I can say is either my scales were wrong or I think someone in particular has been scoffing her face since living in my house! Ha

Weights when Ginny arrived (30/04/12)

Mini G - 881g
Ginny - 595g

Today's weight

Mini G (2 1/2)- 930g
Ginny (6 months) - 805g!

Being used to Mini G who has always been a smaller pig and was around 800g when she was 1 year old I had a bit of a shock that Ginny has put on 230g in just over a month!

I am glad she's put weight on as I was wondering if she was getting to eat enough as Mini G is quite stroppy at veg time and my Dad seemd to be convinced Mini G was eating all the food! This is obviously not the case!

Than again I am a bit worried that 230g is a lot of weight in such a small period of time...but I guess she's still a young and growing piggy?
