minimum age/weight for neutering?

I have a 14 week old boar, what is the minimum age he can be neutered at? Or the minimum weight, as he is a little on the small side I think?

Also could anyone recommend an experienced vet in the Birmingham or west midlands area to do the actual procedure?
 
I don't know of any vets in your area but I'm sure someone will be along to advise you. My vet said around 6 months and obviously they need to be in tip top health. I'd advise finding an experienced cavy savvy vets and getting some advice from them before making any big decisions. Have you checked the vets thread, there may be one recommended on that. Make sure you ask the vet how many g.p castrations they've carried out and how many were successful, had complications, what pre operative care and post operative care they offer etc etc.
