Miss Bramble eloped and wants to introduce you to her new Husboar Saxon

My new husboar has gone missing! My Mum Misty and I were paw holders for him while he had his first vet check and then he was put back in the carrier and left at Aunty Lilli's. Has he gone there on holiday without us? In which case I don't think that's very fair. I heard the vet telling my Slave that Saxon hadn't been neutered properly and he may have got me in trouble. What have I done? My Mum Misty warned me of the danger of boars! Why didn't I listen? I hope I'm not in any trouble because I've always been a good girl.
 
This is so awful I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. It's awful for you and your Mum, your poor slave must be feeling terribly let down too. Sending you all big hugs.

Miss Bramble you are still a very good girl. Definitely not your fault. Fingers crossed you and your mum are not “up the duff”.

Shocking. I hope Saxon will be allowed home soon. I’m sure he’s very confused too. Poor fella. ❤️

My Slave is feeling very let down, the Rescue is feeling very let down but is doing all they can to support us all. Poor Saxon will be going back to the vet (one that Aunty Lilli trusts) to see what is going on. Then Aunty Lilli will let my Slave know.
 
I would be very surprised if Saxon has managed to make himself a father. Poor boy, what a complicated set of waterworks he has. The girls must be missing him. But at the same time, it's wise to take care, as Misty says, and stay out of trouble. I hope Saxon will be back soon 🙏

Poor Saxon suddenly gets removed from his new perfect home and the girls lose their husboar.

Just heard from Lilli. Her vet said he's not sure what the lump is. It may be a testicle, but could also be a hernia or an abscess. Saxon is going in for ultrasound and tests and maybe an operation on Tuesday. So let's hope it's not a botched neutering and 1 testicle was left.
 
Fingers crossed it's not a testicle so you can stop worrying about the girls being pregnant. 🤞🤞 And that whatever it is, it can be easily fixed and that you caught it very early.

I had a piggy, Timmy, that we adopted from RSPCA in 2013/2014 I think, that had a hernia because of neutering. We adopted him neutered already. A month after we adopted him, he started having bloat episodes. The day we took him to the vet the first time, I felt a tiny little lump from his back area, but being a newish piggy owner at that time, I didn't have a clue that it was a concern. Plus the vet didn't take notice of it as well. But the bloat kept on happening after every few weeks in those 3 months. We only found out it was hernia when we took him to an exotics vet for an exploratory operation (every vet we've seen were all clueless what the issue was). She found out that the sack where the testicle used to be wasn't stitched up fully so part of his intestines were going down to that hole. When the op was done, Timmy was in really bad condition already. The vet tried her very best to fix it during the op. Timmy passed away at home though that night after the operation. We only had him for 4 months. If only we knew that first time that it was something sinister, we could have saved him. He was the reason why I joined the forum.
 
Yes, there is a high risk of herniation with piggy neutering. Good its been spotted and will hopefully all be sorted. Sending comforting wishes 🙏

Hello Saxon here. I just wanted to update you all about the very strange and weird few weeks I've had. First I was taken to somewhere called "The Vets" and went on a long sleep. When I woke up, I found a couple of pieces of my anatomy were missing. Then I went to somewhere called "A Fosterer" for a little while. Then I was moved again to somewhere called "Aunty Lilli's". I was only at Aunty Lilli's for about half an hour when these 2 beautiful sows were suddenly in the run next to mine. I learnt their names were Bramble and Misty. They were very interested in me and immediately came up to the divider to say hello. I, of course, being a hot blooded male piggy, went straight to the divider to let them know that I wanted to get to know them on a personal level but couldn't cos the divider was in the way. I couldn't even jump over the divider as my side of the cage had a roof on it. I think that was very unfair as their side didn't!

I stayed next to the two girls for a few weeks and Aunty Lilli took me and them into a new room called "the Kitchen" and put us in the bonding pen. Well Bramble seemed to like me straight away, it was Misty I had to convince to like me, after a few chin offs and her telling me my place, I finally accepted I had to do as I was told and then we all went back in the piggy room and into the run we'd been in before but without the divider. I thought that was it and that I would live there forever with my new wifelets.

A few days later, I was put in a lovely basket carrier with my wives and had a little ride and ended up somewhere else! This time it was called "Betsy Towers" and Aunty Lilli was no longer my Slave. My new Slave told me that I'm now in my forever home and that I will only be living here and going on holiday at Aunty Lilli's and will live nowhere else. I like the sound of that! Anyway, I was in my forever home for a week when my new Slave took me back to "The Vets" for a health check. This vet thought that I hadn't been neutered properly and advised my Slave to take me back to Aunty Lilli's to find out what was going on. I found myself back at Aunty Lilli's and then I went to yet another vet who booked me in for tests and X-rays the following week. Meanwhile, it turns out that what I had was a scrotal abscess which burst on the morning of my vet visit. It really hurt! Aunty Lilli took me to this other vet who washed out the abscess site thoroughly and advised Aunty Lilli to do the same twice a day for a week which she did. I didn't like her doing that very much and bit her sleeve as it was very uncomfortable. After a week the vet signed me off and I went back to my new forever home.

My new Slave put me in the run in a place called "The Garage" and introduced Misty and Bramble again. I knew that Misty had been a problem making friends with the first time, so I immediately went up to her and licked her bum and then her face and she accepted that I was back and we were friends again. Then I went up to Bramble. Much to my surprise, Bramble didn't accept me straight away as she had before and it was a bit fractious between us for most of the day. So much so that at one point, we had a tea towel flapped in front of us to diffuse the situation. Bramble was telling me I had to listen to her and then she firmly put me in my place and I decided for the sake of harmony to listen to what I was told and be the bottom of the hierarchy. We were then put in Betsy Towers and lived in there for a week while we got to know each other before going in the run for the day and then back in Betsy Towers for the night. Now everything is happy in Betsy Towers and I have my new family.

You have had a very adventurous few weeks Saxon.
We are very glad that you are in your 5* forever home with Misty and Bramble.
We know what it’s like to have lots of upheaval too.
We were left in some nasty, Cole and wet woods but someone found us and we went to live with a Fosterer too.
Then we went to Aunty Helen’s and then we found our forever home too.
We are very happy and we know you will be very happy in your forever home now.
