hi I went to the vets on Wednesday night as my boys have mites/Lice they had an injection do any of you know roughly how long it will take for them to go? as they still have them crawling about :(

If the parasites are crawling, they are lice. Mange mites are not visible to eye. It can take a few days for them to die. It takes about 2 days for the ivermectin to work through the body and then the lice need to ingest it through the blood they suck up. You can also work from the outside with lice'n'easy shampoo from gorgeous guineas.
