I took all four piggies to the vets a couple of weeks ago as I noticed one of them in particular had flakes in his fur which came away very easily when pulled which made me think it might be fungal. The vet pulled some fur from each of them and had a look under the scope. She said there was no sign of a fungal infection but what looked like eggs and some dead mites. I’ve applied two lots of Xeno 450 but that same pig seems to be getting worse (pictures attached). I’m going to call the vets tomorrow and get him booked back in but I was just wondering what you guys think? I also just noticed flakiness around his eye which wasn’t there before :(

Your poor piggy.
It sounds like you are doing everything possible for him which is great.
We had a similar problem a while back, and it turend out that Eddi actually had both mites AND fungal.

We did the full course of mite treatment (3 rounds 8 days apart) ad also topical treatment for fungal.
But we went for a topical treatment becasue a culture confirmed it wasn't serious fungal like ringworm.

Hopfully the vet can get ot the bottom of it, but don't forget to make sure you finish any treatment you have already started, and also treat all of the piggies who live in your home.

Thank you for your reply @Swissgreys that’s very helpful.

Oh poor Eddi, double whammy! :/ (my phone immediately entered cheeseburger after I typed double haha). I hope he’s all better now :)
