today I got 2 babies and the mum of one of them. The babies are a ginger teddy boar and a long haired sow. I also got the mummy, the mummy sow is the mum of the long haired baby. The long haired baby was in such a shape I phoned the vet and got an emergency app for the babies. Basically, they all have mites so the babies are on treatment for that and will get the mum done tomorrow if I can get in. The baby ginger piggy turned out to be a boy so there is a small chance the baby sow could be preggers as the babies were on together! The babies are 9 weeks. The boy has pox on his mouth and the girl has wounds on her eye and ear that went untreated as you can see.

ANy particular theme for names, I feel inspired...

It's like a chicken pox but on a guinea. Apparently they are prone to it when they are run down and as he is infested with angry mites then he is low. I can't believe they are only 9 weeks and yet so poorly :(

The names don't need a theme as we have had to seperate the little boy so sadly he is on his own for now. Then we are going to try and rebond the mother and daughter, as they all have mites we can put those 2 in together straight away and see how it goes. We defo want to keep the little teddy boy though so we may get him neutered in time. We shall see.

So any name suggestions are always welcome x

Poor little piggies - hope they soon start to feel better.

Is there a possibility the white one could have ringworm - looks very like ringworm cases I've seen in the past and the face and around the eyes is a very common place to find it.

AWWW - I am so angry with people who can get pets slips into such a state and not care!

How about Snowflake and Hazelnut for daughter and mother?
Bianca (white) and Bruna (brown) - in Italian.

And your little teddy boy just looks like a little Teddybear! (NOT very imaginative, but it fits!) Or you could call him Barron, after the Red Baron.

I hope that with your good care they will soon look a lot happier!

What a state that little white one is in. I'm so glad you've found room for these, they really need you.

Poor piggies, thank goodness they are in your caring hands now! Fingers crossed they all recover quickly.

Mocha and Latte
Cola and Lemonade
Sophie, Sammie, Jenny, Layla for girls
Hazel, Galaxy (and other chocolate names) for mum
Bianca, Snowflake, Chrystal for little girl

Charlie, Joey, Cinnamon, Ginger for boy

Or all alcoholic names :))
Baccardi - little girl
Whiskey/Brandy - Boy
Tia Maria - Mum

Oh, those poor little pigs - can't believe people can do that. GGGRRR!

How about names on a biscuit theme?!

Hobnob
Jammy Dodger

Flapjack

Poor poor guineas.

I hope they are all okay and am so pleased they are in your care.

Keep us posted about them please. I need regular updates!

Oh my God the poor little things...I so glad they found their way into your loving home! How can people just let their animal get into that state....makes me soooooooooo angry!

I hope they feel better soon.

Some name suggestions:
Female: Clover, Lyla, Lucy, Hollie

Boys: Alfie, Harry, Albert

Please keep us update on how they are getting on!
xx

Poor little piggies ......... hope they feel beter soon xoxo

I liked the suggestion someone said above of Alfie,
I'm afraid I like very, very unusual names, summer, winter, happiness, Decoata(sp? - the state?) Other way, you could keep them nameless for a little longer and study their personalities, a piggy who popcorns more might be named poppy or popster... so on =]

Where did you rescure them from?
