Have trialed the tunnel cozies I previously made and they keep moving about in the washing machine - the insides that is so I have now modified them hopefully to solve this, will find out the next wash day. The girls absolutely love them so its worth the effort.

But as the girls keep lying on top of the tunnels as well as running through them I thought that I should make some simple beds for them to try.

and blue marble cotton double tier bed with fleece bottom (so it wicks out)

These I will wash and see how they hold up and if they do well I would be willing to make these to sell as I enjoyed making these, might manage the tunnels but cutting out the lining is a little hard for me. Plus I dont want to tread on anyones feet here selling items just yet, will see if anyone wants my tat first :red

they are not the tidiest of sewing but I was using scraps I had lying around so IF I make them to sell I would be using a pattern and sewing properly. Each one is hand sewn to finish it off which isnt the greatest since my hand is not behaving lately rolleyes

ok I have jumped the gun here as I really enjoyed making these and have invested in some material to make a batch up. I have yet to work out pricing and to washing machine test them - the materials I have brought are fully washable and of really good quality so wasnt cheap rubbish.

Would anyone be interested in buying any beds - and as ever I would donate part of my profit to guinea pig rescues else I feel guilty about selling things :red Plus dont want to tread on other bed makers feet here and think my design is different to others so its something different. Basically it will be a two tier cotton bed with fleece bottom and a single tier fleece bed with fleece bottom. Both bottom sections are slightly padded for comfort, all materials are safe for piggies as well (should they chew)
