Mouldy red pepper

I bought a pack of 3 peppers in Tesco today, the BBE date was the 24th of August.
When I sliced it up to give with to Coco and Amber and use in my salad I noticed it was all mouldy inside

When I looked underneath you could see it had gone darker at the bottom.
I took the packet back and they exchanged the red pepper for me, which they let me pick from the loose ones.

Just a word of warning really if you buy the packs too, I wasn't expecting it with them still have 4 days before the BBE.

Glad they swapped it for you, 4 days before the best before is pretty bad

mine was like that from aldi in the 3 pack. not nice to open it to see that.

The woman on customer services was talking about an exchange, I told her I didn't really feel like pepper now :{

I hate when that happens. Our local Lidl is really bad for the veggies being mouldy or soft, especially peppers.

Same thing happened to me, all mouldy inside.
I'd bought the value pack of red and green peppers from Tesco when they were on offer.
I don't like pepper anyway, I only buy them for the pigs!
