Mow much is neutering?

It averages around £45 to castrate a boar.

In that price, many vets include a post-op checkup around 5-7 days after the surgery; some vets don't though, so be sure to check what the price actually includes!

I was going to say the same; it's also worth asking how experienced the vet is with this kind of op.

I paid £53, but after 4 weeks Corey developed a abscess. I took him back and they lanced it and gave me some antibiotics and I had to bathe it twice a day. They asked to see him 5 days later, when they saw him it had started to dry up so they were happy it was alright.

we are having both our boars neutered on tuesday the cost is £42 per piggie, we have no idea if this includes a checkup afterwards but we know they are experienced in these procedures, still nervous about it no matter how experienced and we know it wont be a good day after we have dropped them off waiting to hear how it has gone.

We pay £46 this includes painkilling and antibiotic injection and a follow up visit.

I paid £40 per piggie that included a pre & post op check and also food etc.. whilst they were recovering

I paid £45 & some pence in Feb, this included post-op checks (he had 3 in total) but was only meant to have had 2 :)
