My beautiful boy Indiana 💔

After a diagnosis of lymphoma on 20th May, my darling boy Indiana lost his short battle on 13th June. He was just over 5 years old, and leaves behind his older (non biological) brother Dylan.

Indy was so special. He was cheeky, naughty and so funny. He made me smile every day and got me through some very hard times. He loved to play, chew on my hair if I didn’t pay him enough fuss, and he really loved to eat.

He seemed happy until the very end. It all happened so fast. He was right as rain until a couple hours before he passed. I hope that he had been pain free and knew how much I love him.

Now I am torn, as I don’t want to adopt another piggy for selfish reasons - I cannot take the heartbreak when they leave, but I do not want to leave Dylan alone. Putting him to bed at night is leaving me in floods of tears as I never want him to feel alone. We have a camera set up in their bedroom and I watch it constantly to check he’s okay.

Indy, if love could have saved you, you’d have lived forever and ever. Mammy misses you so so much already. My heart is broken
