Wendys piggy
Two years and two weeks ago, I lost my darling Saffy.
She was quite a character ... a complete contrast to any other guinea pig I've had. Within the first week of having her she tried to escape into next door's garden, giving her the nick name "houdini".
As soon as anyone went anywhere near the fridge she would squeal with anticipation .. if you dared rustle a plastic bag she would go absolutely nuts! She would literally rip parsley out of your hand in a frenzy and just had oodles and oodles of character.
My most favourite memory of her is when it came to dinner time, I'd open the cage so she could jump out, she'd run into the kitchen in a frenzy and run around my feet as I chopped the veggies, open the fridge and she'd try to get in there to munch on whatever was going spare .. and run back with eagerness to munch on the treats in the cage .. she was beautiful, friendly and ever so slightly crazy ... I miss her so much still
