At 3.14pm today my beloved Adam passed away in my arms.

I had been cleaning his cage and he had been enjoying his usual run around on my shed floor, chatting to all his piggy friends. I popped him back into his lovely clean house and went to the garden to put out some more piggies. When I went back into the shed I heard a really odd sounding sort of strangled wheek, Adam just collapsed onto his side - I rushed to pick him up but he litterally gasped 2 breaths and died in my arms. I'm assuming he had a heart attack but it was so very quick 8...

Adam was only 7 months old and was part of the large group of shelties rescued by Sophiew in January.

I can only thank Sophie from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to give Adam a home. In his few months with me he has stolen my heart completey and although there are still lots of piggies in my shed - it seems strangley quiet without his cheeky face standing up at the bars wheeking loudly, me me me !

Run free my very special boy. You were with me only a few months but you'll never ever be forgotten .............................

I am so sorry that your gorgeous little boy left you so suddenly and soon!
At least you were there to hold him...

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Adam may only have beens with you a short while, but he would have know that he was dearly loved. It is so cruel when a piggy is taken so suddenly but he made his crossing to the bridge feeling loved and safe. Adam, your life may have been cut short but you made a lasting impression in the hearts of those who were blessed to have had you in their lives. Run free at Rainbow Bridge and watch over Mummy who is heartbroken that you are no longer with her..
 
Oh bless him but what a way to go - surrounded by piggy friends, having had a lovely day chomping on fresh grass etc. and then being popped back into your snuggly clean house. I'm so sorry for your loss Teresa it must have been a dreadful shock for you, but just remember what a lovely time Adam has had with you. RIP little man.
 
So very sorry to hear of Adam's passing.
At least he knew he was loved and will always be loved and he had a second chance at having a home of his own.

Bless you Teresa huge hugs, I am so so sorry to hear that Adam passed away, he had the best of homes with you. He was a truely handsome piggies and had a lovely life. x
 
I'm sure it feels better him having 7 months of a good life with your and your furries before passing. It could have happened much more dreadfully before being rescued.....i dont even want to think about that. He was loved when he left, I'm sure he knew that all too well. Hugz
 
I am so sorry for the sudden passing of Adam. What a precious chap he was! Big *hugs* to you Teresa.

Oh Teresa, I wasn't on here last night so didn't see your message until this morning, how heart-breaking. I'm so sorry - he was a naughty chap and such a character!
