My boars do not want to eat veggies!

Hello! My boars do not want to eat veggies, even if I gave them very VERY thin slices :( They eat the hay and a little bit of pellet and drink water normally but when it comes to veggies they just ignore it. How can I make these picky eaters eat their veggies? :help:
 
The fact that they eat their hay is the best thing for them! Keep pellets limited at tablespoon of pellets per pig per day.
Keep offering a small amount of veggies and see what happens. Fresh Herbs are often a firm favourite of piggies - my two would do anything for some coriander!
How old are they?
 
It took my boar a year and a half to like parsnip lol, when I first got him, he was picky because where I got him from, only fed him Cabbage as his veg for the day.

My boars are two months old now when i adopted them (which is last week). They are one week and a few days in with me already but still struggling to get them to eat veggies.

I guess I should plant some fresh veggies now for my babies 😂

Be careful when feeding cabbage as it can cause tummy issues. There is a section in this link that explains Long Term Balanced General And Special Needs Guinea Pig Diets

Oh ok, they’re just youngsters then, well that explains it! It will be a case of perseverance to get them to eat a variety of veggies!
 
I think I got lucky with my boys! They’ve always hoovered up everything apart from tomato, Ozzy turned his nose up at that

No I'm not talking good about Cabbage, I meant he was only fed Cabbage so didn't know about other tastes. Pets at home are crap, they only buy in Cabbage for their guinea pigs. It can cause gas like piggie and buns said

Oh I see, sorry for the misunderstanding, I will read more on what vegetables are good and hopefully with time my boars will come to like veggies :D
