I came home early today as I was worried about Ludo hiding in his bed and me not appearing to see him eat so I came home and checked on them, he seems fine. :)

I gave them both a hug for a few mins then they wanted to go back in. I nipped to the shop to get them some more veg and when I was chopping it, Hoggle was popcorning and squeaking then Ludo was squeaking too I think and they were peeping through the bars and Hoggle's nose was twitching like he could smell it so I gave them a dish each of peppers, celery, cucumber and carrot. They haven't touched it yet though because I keep sneaking up on them!

Just one thing, I caught them making little noises and they seemed to be rubbing their noses/faces together, that isn't aggressive is it? They stopped as soon as they realised I was there.

Here are some pics I have just took! :(|) :<>

mine do the face rubbing thing and a bit of bum wiggling think theyre just communicating to each other.your pigs are cute :)

Thanks! Glad to know it is normal, it didn't look aggressive at the time but I am not used to their body language! I loved the way Hoggle let Ludo know I was chopping veg, he was popcorning and squeaking then Ludo ran to the bars with his little face looking for the food!

PHEW! They are okay and your mind is at rest.

I have to agree they are absolutely gorgeous, really lovely boys. x)x)

I can't wait to see them when their hair is long! Brushing them will be fun! :{ lol - hopefully by then they will like me!

I just cleaned their cage and they went mad to get away from me, you would think by now they would realise all I do is bring fresh bedding and food. They may catch on one day! :(|)

One day. They are such nervous creatures. Mine sometimes stay there and sometimes run for their lives. And I have had most of them since end of May. They are much better but still not relaxed totally. Maybe they never will be. But they are absolutely fine when they come on my lap.

Give it time. You have had some wonderful stuff happen today with the wheeks and popcorns. It can only get better from there! :))

Eventually, they'll catch on! Just give them time to get used to the routine. If you make it a ritual by saying the same little phrase with its own melody every time, they'll know what you're up to and can anticipate.

Well they already know the chopping board noise, although that may prove a problem when I am trying to do my own tea!

I put wood pellets in their cage instead of wood shavings and the noise terrified them, poor lads.

I just hope Ludo will start being as excited. I have only really ever heard quiet squeaks from him when I was cuddling him. I can see their characters slightly coming through! :)

I have had some more cuddles this morning! :(|)

I picked them both up and gave them a kiss, then I later picked Hoggle up (Ludo is scared even more!) and tried to put him back but he clinged onto my jacket, don't know if it was in fear or he wanted a longer cuddle! :(|)

Think I saw him popcorn again this morning!

I was in the kitchen most of the night last night cooking and they didn't know I was there, it was really nice to witness what they are like when they think they are alone!

I am however concerned they are beginning to fight, I heard a bit of a commotion and saw them jumping away from each other, am getting worried. Will the bigger cage help when it arrives?
