I've had my pigs for about a month now; they're 2 PAH factory pigs who I adopted from Glynneath GPR. They're brothers, about 15 months old, and one has a very mild residual head tilt. Aside from that they seem to be very healthy. Mo (the one with the head tilt) is very laid back, he is happy to be handled and cuddled but Sid is very different. As soon as he suspects I'm going to do anything other than give him food he chatters his teeth and goes off to hide in his bedroom. When I need to pick him up he goes in his chube so I pop a towel over him and it and pick the whole bundle up!
One thing I have noticed is that when they're having floor time they don't seem to do any zoomies or popcorning. I try to introduce different things for them to play with in there that are different to the things they have in their cage (they're in a Skyline maxi xxl) but all they want to do is eat and sleep. Am I being too impatient and /or my expectations are too high?! I'd be really grateful if some of you could share your views :help:

First- omg a fellow Mo! The ginger piggy in my profile picture is my boy Mo. And both our Mo's have a friend who's nane begins with 's' in your case Sid & mine Steve. Lol.

Second- it really depends on the piggies and to be honest a month isn't all that long. It's possible they are still adjusting and you'll see popcorning etc soon or its just that they prefer to show you their enjoyment by eating and relaxing. Both those things are just as good as popcorning and show that they are comfortable at least. :)

Your boys are adults now, and not youngsters. By far not all piggies will zoom and popcorn; you cherish those that do and love the others as they are.

Try to place a fleece or sheet over the run and sprinkle little treats around to give the boys a feeling of security and to entice them to move around a bit more.
