My budgies (Extremely long thread with loads of pics)

Your Grandad sounds like me when I grow old but as a female! I want many birds in my life, they are absolutely lovely to have and budgies I have to say are one of my favourite parrots. They may be small but never judge the intelligence!

He was a very kind man. He loved taking care of birds. His garden was the same way. He'd have so much food out for them, nests, water, etc. He knew not to be greedy though and only had a few at a time to look after to ensure they got attention.

Your budgies are lovely and its great you've got such a wonderful relationship with them.

My dad used to have a budgie called Billy. He was so full of character and hardly ever shut up. He would call out to the cat, who would then go straight over to him and just sit with him. He terrorised the dogs, and would always sit on the edge of my dinner plate and try to steal food. He died at 15.

I'd love another budgie, but hubby's not too keen.
