just need a couple of special boys now :)) ive got a few other bits toys etc but wont put them in yet as dont want to overwhelm them before they settle in
i know its really dog fleeces but the only other alternatives were pinks or white/cream.dont think boys would appreciate pink and white shows up the poo too much!:p
 
I love the fleece. The cage all looks so shiny and new.

The only thing I had to change was to cut another opening into the hut, as Nia and Nerys were waking me up squabbling in the middle of the night when one of the was blocking the entrance! With two "doors" nobody can get trapped inside, which is a consideration, especially with new boys!

What a good idea! might try that when I get my new house as old one is broken :( Ordered it twice now from P@H and they keep telling me nothing hs been ordered as if I'm lying about the fact I ordered one mallethead
 
thats a good idea about cutting another hole, although il see how they get on with it.they are supposed to be good boys so they may be more considerate of each other then nerys and Nia were ha ha but i can just picture them standing in the doorway refusing to let the other out!
yes its a nero 4 cage and its massive I'm hoping theyll like it if not il live in it!ha ha
theyre coming home this weekend curtesy of some very special piggie drivers :). i cant wait to see them and give them lots of love

All you need now are the piggies. You must be really excited :)

I like the fleece, but I bet it won't stay so lovely and clean for long once you have excited piggies running around on it!

theyll be here tomorrow and I'm sure it`ll be covered in poo and all messed up in no time, just like my kids do with their rooms straight after ive tidied them- obviously without the poo:)p
the fleeces were only £1 each in poundland,bargain dont you think?
 
£1 is definately a bargain! well done you shame i do not know where one of those is?
 
Lovelygirl I'm not sure where you live but Rajanies in fishponds sell lots of blankets like that which are fairly cheap, not sure if they are £1 but they were around that. The pound shop in Shirehampton used to sell them for £1 but I don't live there anymore so not sure if they still do them.
 
ok well i live in downend so just round the corner per se but where is ranjanies?
 
well the cage is no longer that tidy the boys were jumping about everywhere last night and theres hay everywhere and even food pellets everywhere!
 
YAY then now it's a proper cage! It's excellent by the way - really cool. Glad they are enjoying it so much.

I love your cage! I have the same one for my two boys. I must say its very durable as my one Gizmo always chews on the bars when I open the fridge door or when its time for veggies! I dont use the house as my mam kindly made them two cosies, from the same fleece you got from the £1 shop! Its really good fleece! The only problem I had with the cage was the water bottle it would drip all the time so I bought a new one from wilkensons.

ive noticed that with the water bottle also it falls off quite often, doesnt seem to fit on properly so I'm thinking of getting a new one.
it is good fleece,ive got it in black as well which I'm putting on later as its time for a cage change.
the boys love their house they both sprawl out in it and look very comfy :)
