My girlies had their vet check today....

and they got weighed! My Chunky Monkey weighs a massive 1.4kgs, Cookie was 910g and Ripple was 720g. They all had their claws clipped and got a clean bill of health. It's their first trip since we got them nearly 2 weeks ago so it was good to know we are keeping them well.

Does 1.4kgs sounds a lot?

'Tis on the large side but still fine for a guinea pig! Up to 1.8kg can be normal for a few pigs, Chunky Monkey (so aptly named!) is a nice solid weight.

Have you got scales at home for them? Weekly weight checks is a worthwhile habit to get into.
