My Girls :)

Well I have been a lurker for a while now and just thought that I should properly introduce both myself and my girls!
I'm Nikki, piggie momma to both Bella and Emma. I have had them for less than a month, but love them to death! I had a guinea pig when I was younger and Loved her so much...but had not had once since. Now I am hooked and do not think I could be without one of these sweet little creatures!
I made them a new cage last night. Well...really just bigger. It was the same but on a four foot table...I bought them a 6 foot table and extended there c&c cage to fit the top. They are in piggie heaven and love the new space to do what I call the "belly stretch" where they just walk around slowly stretching to full length hehe.
well...here are the girls...
this one is Emma...We got her a week later than Bella...Bella just looked so darn lonely!

I will not be showing the picture to the boys pigs as they are smelly enough at the mo:)
Brilliant piggy accommodation too.
 
Welcome to the forum. Your girls are so beautiful. You have to make sure you regularly put their pictures up. :)

What beautiful piggies and what a great cage they have. Plenty of room for piggie sprinting..
 
This may be a rediclous question.. but what bedding do you use? (sorry, ive never seen it before, and someone i knew the other day was asking what the woodshaving alternatives looked like and i couldnt answer, just trying to figure them all out. :) )
 
Thanks everyone! Yep, I only had Bella or Emma in a store bought cage for a couple of days each. We got Bella first and I bought a cage at the same time, knowing that it was just until I could make one bigger. But then it came in handy when we got Emma. I put the cage with Emma in it next to Bellas cage so that they could get used to each other in a safe way before I threw them in together hehe.
The table that they are on is 6 feet long and over 2 feet wide. We have a nice big living room, so they get to have alot of space :)

The bedding we use is a paper type product. It comes compressed into a square and when you open the bag and start to "crumple" it apart, it comes uncompressed and covers the area really well. I get it at Walmart here in the states, not sure what store where some of you girls live that would be the same.
This is what I use sometimes, or another company with the same type of product. I do not use the colored ones though, I get the "natural"...
