This is my boy Travis.

Travis was a huge part of my life for 11 years. I was only 14 when i got him. We rescued him for a home and from the first day we got him he's just been my world.
The day Travis passed away, my heart shattered into a million pieces. I got him cremeated so he is always going to be with me, i couldnt bare the though of him being away from me. The place that we got him cremeated have a memorial page so its nice to be able to read it every day.

This is what i wrote

TRAVIS the best dog in the world.
You weren't just a dog, you were my dog, my boy and my best friend.
You meant the world to me
Thank you for the 11 years we shared together, the memories of you will never fade.
I miss you so much everyday, you will never be forgotten
You will always remain in my heart
I'll always Love You
Lots of Love XX

I miss him so much everyday. I loved him more than life itself.

Travis sounds like such a special friend. I am so sorry for your loss.
 
I'm so sorry to hear about Travis. What a lovely doggie its no wonder he stole your heart. Have fun at the bridge gorgeous Travis and keep waggging that tail...
 
So sorry for the loss of your beautiful boy. That was a beautiful moving tribute.

Thank You all. He was very special to me.

From the first day i saw him, i knew he was going to be mine. I told my my mum at the kennels that i wasnt leaving without him. :))
He was so quiet and had these Massive puppy eyes that you coudnt help
falling in love with, then they brought him out and he was so boisterous.... Well played Travis :))
The look on my mums face was a picture. She thought we were getting a lovely quiet dog. Wrong!
He turned out to be the best dog anyone could of asked for.

This is quite sad really but my mum use to say ' if i could find a man that loved me as much as Travis does, then i would be very lucky' :red lol

I have found someone who loves me very much, but Travis knew he was top dog and would put my BF in his place :))
 
I'm so sorry to hear about Travis, I know exactly how you feel. I lost my beautiful dog Rose almost 3 years ago and I miss her so much. She was more then a dog, she was a friend and a sister to me.

awww I'm sorry sweetheart, i lost my bestest friend ever about 3 years ago and i miss her all the time, but it does get a little easier with time.

Lovely lovely tribute to a special baby x

I'm sorry to hear about Travis :'( As I write this, I am crying :'(
We just had to say goodbye to our beloved, Midnight, on the 15th :'( My 9 year old boy ♥ I had him since I was...3? He would be turning 10 on the 18 of Nov. I miss him dearly :'(
We also got him cremated. I say goodnight to him every night. "He" is wrapped in a blanket I knitted for him ♥
 
So sad.(((((hugs))))) I know how special they are, we lost our lovely clever girl Holly ( blue great dane ) 5 years ago and I still miss her. Travis sounds like he was a wonderful friend. x

Travis was vey special to me. He had a great life with me, he was very spoilt ")
He was a good old age of 15 when his time came. He never had an health issues until the last month he was here.
Getting him put to sleep was the hardest thing ive ever had to do, but i know i done the right thing. I loved him too much to let him suffer, as much as i didnt want to lose him. It dosent make it any easier right enough.
 
Stacey it's a decision none of us every want to make, but sometimes whee just have to do it for there sakes :0
