My Guinea pig always poos on me

Is it because

  • He doesn't like me

my guinea pig sometimes leaves huge turd balls in my hand. yuck. and when i hold him he likes to drop turds on my carpet! :D ;D
 
Pigs just seem to constantly poo, you'r every lucky if you dont get pooed on ;D i had two of mine out for an hour and neither pooed the other week, i was very freaked out!
 
I have been peed on...now I am more observant and when they start to nibble on me I take them to their cage to go potty. Poo is no big deal! We always find a pile in our laps! I have learned to have cuddle time before snack.
 
I'm always peed on as well, I kinda know when they want to go now as they start running around in circles on my knee and get restless. :)
 
piggies, basically poo constantly, i'm afraid, there's really nothing you can do about it! xx0 i think i read somewhere they don't really know they're doing it so you can't train them! ::) :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
 
Mine have never pood on me :o
I guess thats good right ^-^ ;D
They poo all over my grooming table though ::)
 
merlin poos for england i swear!

one day when he was on my lap he popped out 13 of them without me knowing. when i realised there was a 14th on the way ::) so he went back in his cage ;D

It must be love, and you must be the luckiest person at the mo ;D
 
when i had my girlies when i was younger i was never pooed on but now i have a boy and he does all the time. I think it might be a boy thing! ;D No manners! ;D ;D
 
Unfortunatly this seems to be common problem for all our fellow guinea pig lovers. My two dont have a preference as to where they go i find i am constantly running around after them with a dust pan and brush. I always know when they're gonna pee because they get quite restless almost like they're warning me 'i need to pee, i need to pee!'
 
I have been poo'd and wee'd on so if I'm going to hold them for a long time I put them on a towel :)
 
i have a dog i didn't know they liked gp poo lol. My dog isn't allowed anywhere near the pig, i think she would kill him coz she chases anything that moves. When i walk her i feel so sorry for the rabbits in the field but she has never caught 1.
 
your lucky he is just pooping on you! everytime I hold Basil he pees on me! lol he hasnt done it for a while thank god lol
