My guinea pig died recently is it normal for me to feel disconnected with my other pets and feel like I don’t want another pet again?

my beautiful guinea pig milo died at the end of September but a few days before his passing I got a rabbit and I also had a dog but since he passed i feel like if I can’t have my guinea pig back then I don’t want any other pet and I haven’t really bonded with my rabbit either just feel so disconnected from them which is horrible because I love them just wonder if it’s normal to feel like this?

Sorry for your loss. I think it is normal. Behind is possibly a fear that you’ll be hurt again when their time comes. Have a read through the link below, Hope it helps you some.

I'm sorry for your loss. Yes, it's pretty normal. While they're not the same thing, it's kinda like a break-up, when you think you'll never love somebody again. Same cure too. You just have to wait, kinda heal from losing Milo. Spending time with your rabbit, even if you don't want to will help a lot in the long run, with both you and the rabbit. Best of luck!
