My Guinea Pig Has Red Eyes - Does This Mean He Cant See Very Well?

Does anyone know whether a guinea pig with red eyes can see as well as guinea pigs with normal coloured eyes. Henry has red eyes (in my pic) so just wondered if he can see properly, its something iv wondered for a while but never asked! Does anyone know? x
 
My boys are both pinkie eyed bundles of love..the way they run laps around their room at 1000mph they can def see just fine...and when I get out the veggies and they come running! :)
 
It's just like having blue eyes as a human- it's a recessive gene. He can see as well as any other guinea pig. I have one with brown eyes and one with red eyes, and there is no difference in their eyesight that I can tell. He's really cute- is he lilac in colour? Lilac is probably my favorite piggy color... my girl Sundae has a lilac coloured head (her body is white with patches of tan) and the same pink/red eyes. One of my other pigs, Frenzy, was white and red with darker, ruby eyes- also very pretty. A lot of people think the red eyes are creepy, but I like them! :)
 
Aw, he's a dusty mousey brown colour with white and ginger patches. yes some people tell me he looks like a rat with his colourings but I absolutely love him too bits and think he's the cutest! Yours is gorgeous too I just love that colour. I have two male piggies.

Thanks! The on in my avatar is actually my childhood piggy- she was very cute, red and white, named Caramel. Out of the two I have right now, one is red and black brindle, the other has red eyes, a lilac head, and tan patches on white everywhere else. All pigs are cute... I love the variety of colours, it makes me want to collect them!
