New Born Pup
my 4-year-old guinea pig Timmy has had a weird noise in his nose and has been sneezing for about 2 weeks or more. we took him to a vet and she gave him antibiotics and listened to where the noise was coming from but didn't find anything. The first 3 days we tried giving the antibiotics with the needle ourselves but he kept moving and we didn't wanna do something wrong so we took him to a different doctor because they were closer but they didn't specialize in guinea pigs. she gave him the rest of the needles for the week and she listened to him as well and said that there is nothing wrong and that it's just his "quirk". when we finished the antibiotics nothing much changed maybe the noise got a little better but it still was happening. now last week he was doing better I heard the noise less often but he was sneezing quite a lot. then I noticed when I was doing tricks with him and gave him a peas treat he would get it like stuck in his teeth almost every time. I thought it might be because he was eating it while moving a lot so he choked but I don't know. then yesterday on New Year's Eve in the morning he was fluffed up, was much sleepier than normal, and wasn't pooping. when I picked him up he was wet and had a little bit of wet poop on him I washed it off and gave him a carrot that he did eat but not as much as he usually does. Now today is his birthday he just turned 4 and I'm so sad that he is feeling like this. he is still fluffed up and isn't really eating (at least I haven't really seen him eat) he does pee a lot which is good but his bottom was wet again and he had a little bit of like kinda wet poop on his blanket. I have digestion vitamin drops that I gave him and I have a nutritionally-complete, versatile assist-feeding formula that I also gave him. right now he is in his house sleeping fluffed up
Also because it's New Year no doctors around me are open and we don't have a car so we can't go far :/
