Hello, my guinea piggie died today. He was child from my other one piggie, so I know him from first day he was borned. It is hard for me, but there is a second thing. His mommy is alone now and we cant have another one, so please help me. I dont want her sad. Can she live alone? What to do? Thanks for your replies. Take care of your own guinea piggies and I wish they will have a long life.

How old is your female pig, and if you don't mind me asking, why can't you have another? Although she will be lonely without a companion, chances are she'll be fine- if a little sad.

Hiya! Why are you not allowed another guinea pig? How old is your bereaved guinea pig?
Please show these links to your parents if they are against it. Guinea pigs are group animals and not really wired to be on their own. Even when they don't want to share their territory, they are still much happier with a same species neighbour for regular interaction.
Looking After A Bereaved Guinea Pig
Companionship

Most guinea pigs can seemingly cope with being left alone, but they become more withdrawn and somewhat depressed. You usually only notice just how much they miss company of their own kind when they meet other guinea pigs - it is like they suddenly come alive again and only then you realise that they have actually just survived, but not really lived!
I have just taken in an 8 year old lady from a friend of mine. She has got rather depressed being left on her own after her two same aged group mates have passed away; the last one in January. She's certainly perked up since she's come here and is vocal and interactive again.

Thanks for your replies, I will do what I can. I love my piggie so much, so thanks for your advices. :)
