My guinea pigs keep touching each other’s butts

My guinea pigs like to touch each other’s butts with their noses and then the other one will jump or move forward. They both do this to each other. Are my guinea pigs just weird or is this normal? They are both females and have lived together for over a year.

Don't worry! Butt sniffing/nosing is perfectly normal! It's one way to find out who a piggy is and what they've been doing, similar to dogs.

I once watched 4 piggies nose to bum walk round in a circle for about 5 minutes while I was bonding
