Hi, I got my guinea pig about a year ago. I already had a rabbit and I thought they could be together. Today I had my guinea pig in a blanket and I was holding him. When i looked at his face i saw something red around his mouth. I thought it was just something red he had eaten. But as the day went on I started to get more and more worried. He is also breathing heavily and I don't know what to do. Also when he cleans himself and uses his mouth I can hear a chattering like something is out of place, like his tooth fell out or something.

Your piggy needs to see a vet, both heavy breathing and unexplained bleeding are medical emergencies. Does your pig still live with a rabbit? Piggies and rabbits shouldnt live together, rabbits can accidentally injure piggies very easily and also transmit diseases that are very serious in guinea pigs. Please get a vet check straight away!

Hi! Your piggy needs to see a vet as soon as possible! This is potentially life threatening and cannot wait.
List Of Life And Death Out-of-hours Emergencies

Please remove the guinea pig from your rabbit asap. The two species should not be kept together.

The chattering will be pain more than likely.
Please do what the above sais☝️ good luck and best wishes ☺

I agree with all the other posters. Your piggy needs to see a vet now. Also please do not keep him with your rabbit. They are different species and have different dietary requirements and other needs. Rabbits are very capable (although accidentally) of hurting piggies.
Good luck! :)
