So gizmo has been putting on a lot of weight...
He's 6 months old and living with another male guinea pig Bruce who I introduced to him 2 weeks ago. ( week missed out in book ) I feed them a table spoon each of nuggets in the morning and the same at night. They have a bowl of veg in the morning and the same at night. Then a constant supply of hay. Bruce currently 866g and seems to be staying around the same every week and he's 1 year old. What do I do about gizmos weight ? Is he too fat ?

I've just done this if this helps ?

Hey, Gizmo's still growing, don't worry! Guinea pigs can weigh well over a kilo with no problems. Check his ribs- if they stick out, he's underweight. If you can't feel them, he's overweight- you should be able to feel them but they shouldn't stick out too much.

No he's good- Bumble (R.I.P) weighed between 1200 - 1300 gm when he was fully grown.

Ok that's made me feel a lot happier thanks! Yes I can feel them but they don't stick out much so I guess he's just a big pig! Haha

Awh rip bumble ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks for that it made me feel better knowing I've not been feeding him too much haha!

It is likely that Gizmo is profiting from eating more than his fair share with his new friend, but any adult weight between 900-1300g is perfectly normal, so there is nothing to worry about. On a good diet, things are going to balance out in the long term; he won't end up being grossly overweight.
