...And came home with some veggies for the piggies! I must stress, this was off his own back with no prompting! I am quite touched, considering he 'pretends' to be 'not interested.' :(|)

These will last for a couple of days so I'm chuffed! :))

As you can see, we have carrots, spinach, cucumber, celery, melon, spring greens, peppers and green beans! It doesn't take much to make me happy! :(|)

You trusted him to get you washing powder? I would not ask my OH to get me detergent lol. He still thinks you just put the clothes in the washer and the water cleans them!

What a darling though xx

He does all the shopping! I just leave him to it- he's better at it than me! I buy silly things like chocolate and ummm, chocolate! :)) :))

So does my OH, i hate food shopping with a passion, but he quite enjoys it, i just buy the domestic things when needed, he doesn't have a clue! x

:Ayociexp112:...dinner at yours I believe :(|) ;)
Our shopping trolley is 80% veggies, a few essentials for us (lost count how many times people comment how healthy we eat rolleyes) until they spot the chocolate that snook in as well rolleyes

You should see our fridge, we look so healthy and i always feel so good about it, but then you look in the freezer, pizza, chips, mince, chicken breasts, garlic bread, frozen lasagne lol, dont feel so good then!

Ive just come back from Asda and that is exactly what I just got for my piggies minus the melon.... :))

Our trolley always looks really healthy too! :(|)

That is so sweet, mine pretends not to interested at all. I just brought a new piggie home yesterday, he texted me at work freaking out, there something wrong with her, she isn't moving, she isn't eating. They are silly.

What a darling... So he loves them really.:p
I've got to tell mine when he comes home from work tonight that we have another new one! Not sure what he will say! Think I need to butter him up a bit first... Lol :))

wow your OH is well trained! We have been to asda shopping today, few bits reduced but not exciting. I have to go past on my way out tonight so i shall just have a quick peek in at the veggies!

When the latest two girls came home (Imogen and Bronte) I had them in the cage with Lola and Francesca. It was a couple of days before he noticed they were there! He just looked at me and said 'I thought there were only two in there?' :)) I said...'No, theres always been 4!' :(|) :(|)

He is slowly coming around to my way of thinking! I've caught him a few times talking to them through the bars! :))

Speaking of how observant other halves are - I snuck Esme past my Dad with my mum's permission rolleyes, there house there rules or should I say my mum's rules. Anyway's it took my Dad 6 weeks to notice and he didn't even notice we told him the day Bette died. 'Milo will need a friend now, Oh yeah that's right he has one!' :))

Ha ha, my OH thinks clothes miraculously clean themselves.

Well done on the OH shopping front xx>>>

That's what we like to see; a well trained hooman :p

Never let my OH cook for you! He only buys pizzas and tinned things and if that weren't enough, while I was in hospital and he had to feed himself, he was telling me how he put a pizza in the oven and burnt it WITH the plastic disk still underneath...

He said it didn't taste nice :^- so he obv tried to eat it anyway!

He does usually bring home bags of grass and dandelion leaves for the pigs as he walks to work and most of the veg we are growing on the allotment is for them as well. Still... if he ever asks to cook for you, just back away slowly! :...

I would say it's because I'm the dominant one but...

you could also use food - when he's done something to tick me off, I dont cook as nice things - mainly cause I cant concentrate when I'm hacked off about something. I think he's learnt haha and him bringing piggy food does make me happy :)

Lol, I am planning on using that method when my skyline maxi xxl arrives. They are in the utility and tbh he never goes in there! Why would he? That's where the washing goes on!:)p

Wow - your piggies are so lucky. What a brilliant feast they are going to have :)
