My male guinea pig got neutered two days ago and doesn't seem to be using one of his back legs. It's still warm and he doesn't seem to be in any pain when I move it however he's almost hopping round the cage. I'm seeing my vet in three days for a routine check up but I wondered if anyone has any knowledge or advice.
Thank you so much.

Hi! That is not a normal complication. Please check for any signs of swelling (oedema, abscess, hernia) that could impede the movement of the leg.
