My neighbours have just got 2 guinea pigs

Two sows, one a peruvian and one peru aby x I think! They are gorgeous and are 5 months old :smitten: :smitten:
My neighbour is lovely and got them for her daughter who is 13 but I have a feeling she will get bored with them :-\
Lucky I live next door ;D

I am going to try to sneak some pigtures of them as I said I would show her how to trim their nails ::)

They have a cat too and leave the piggies cage open (she knows mine take it in turns to free range) and she said the cat doesnt take any notice of them but I am worried, cats are unpredictable :-\
 
All animals are unpredictable.
My friend was here yesterday with his two dogs,
they have sniffed the piggy cages but never really bothered.
Yesterday, noisy piggy Harry thought he would wheek at the dogs.
Brett barked and I had two very shaken piggies, just from the noise.

I would not free range them with the cat about if I was her. :-\
 
No, that worries me too especially as he has brought back dead birds before. I will speak to her about it :)
 
i hope she takes your advice Fiona, i still get worried about my dog living in same house as my piggies but hes been good so far and we just have to watch him 24-7 and cant leave him alone in the house ::) its hard work, but worth it :smitten:
