My new friend is a Star!..and so is my old one!

I would like to introduce you to my new friend Star!

He came to live with me when my best mate Snap went to the Rainbow Bridge!

I was very sad and lonely without Snap. I heard one of the little boys, Debbie looks after, say that Snap was now a big bright Star in the sky, and that he was up above my house because you stay close to those you love but I wanted him in my cage so we could play together.

Then last Sunday I got the biggest surprise ever! I got a new friend to love! We have called him Star because he has been a star in every sense of the word. He has made me happy again and he reminds me of my very special friend who is now a Star!

They really love one another. Its so lovely to see. I took Goggles out to weigh him and they were both going crazy shouting to one another.

I can't believe how much weight Goggles has put on since having his new mate either.

Goggles has sadly lost a few of his mates. As a baby he lived with darling Badger, later he lived with Paddy and then when Paddy went to the Bridge and Snap also lost his friend, him and Snap became best buddies. Goggles was terrified the first time he met Snap. I think he thought a big, hairy monster was chasing him. He soon loved Snap's long hair and they would cuddle up for hours, with Snap's hair wrapped around Goggles

I weighed Goggles a few days ago and he has gained 100g since Star came to live with him. Very few of my piggies actually cuddle up to their cage mates but Goggles seems to have a strong need for someone to cuddle. Without that he seems to lose the will to live. It's so lovely to see him happy again. :))
 
Oh Goggles i'm so happy you have someone to cuddle again! Star i LOVE your hair, it's fab! x
 
Just got back from holiday. Star looks great and so does goggles so glad they get along and goggles is getting better. It might be my imagination but Star's hair already looks longer.

It's growing so quickly and is the most crazy hair ever! He is sooooo cute! I have to say I really believe he saved Goggles. Without a friend I think Goggles would have just given up. Instead he's gaining weight so quickly. Two days before Star came to live with him, Goggles weighed 923g. He is now 1078g. Every time I go into my piggy room they both stand at the bars waiting for more food. They are such good mates too! They cuddle up together to sleep and are inseparable.
