Well, ive had her for ages now but never came across this with her or any other sows :-\

I got her out and stroked her and shes rumbling at me with her old voice bless her not as loud as the boars they do it all the time ;D ;D Shes also doing it very quiet may be because shes old its strange as ive never heard her do it before ? Shes also lifting her back end up when i stroke her on her back :o Does this just mean shes in season and ready to take a boar ? :-\ Shes old so am not letting her or any of my others breed ? so what shall i do will this affect her :-\

and bare in mind shes quite old not too sure as i bought her from a breeder :-\

Maybe she's rumbling as she doesn't like being stroked on her back end.
Have you stroked her like that before and her not bother?
Does she seem ok otherwise?
Anne.

my 2 oldies do it, they do it at each other quite funny..its just something some sows do..

will do if i can find it ;D ;D

look at the bottom , it says on there that the sow will lift her bottom when she s ready to mate !

If she is in season and reacts kindly to the male she will lower her head and rumble and raise her bottom slighty into the air , she may even wag her bottom slighty to attract attention from the male.

maybe she thinks youre a guinea pig ;D she might be able to smell your boys on you?

still cant find it 98) it doesnt say anythign like that ?

look in care guide then behaviour. :)
