My perfect record is ruined

It's so easily done but doesn't it make you feel guilty. I'm sure you're forgiven already.

Try not to beat yourself up over it. We've all done it. It's really hard with black nails. I'm sure it's already forgotten on his part.
 
I did the same today too- cut all of Pedro's nails and then of course the last black one- he has 2 black feet and 2 white- got the quick. Had to placate with a pea flake, he's over it now, like your Dash - the fastest way to a piggie's heart is through their stomach😆

It happens to all of us sooner or later... Welcome to the club!

I've even had to rush Hyfryd to the out-of-hours vets last year when she pulled her foot exactly at the same moment I was pushing down hard to get through her thickened nail after all those years of only minor nips to the very tip of the quick... We have both survived the experience! Thankfully at 6 years old, her nail growth has slowed down somewhat.

Just don't let it throw you badly.
 
Welcome to the ever so guilty club. We have very many members. The piggies recover from the shock far quicker than we do. But it’s like falling off a horse. You just have to get back on again - don’t let it put you off
