No... I think they usually live to about 12-15.... so he was an old boy... his little beak (the bottom bit) was getting quite bad in condition as you can see... bless him .... he outlived the other two and we had him first. :o


Thanks everybody... they were very special to me. :'( nicknames for Ben were Bengie Bungie... and Spongy bungie! :D :D :D

Socksy used to lie on my bed after I used to get her in at dawn break ...right in between my ankles... so I couldnt get out of bed later on! ::) ;D

Noddy could talk... but only limited - 'come on', 'where's Andrew' (my bro), 'what you doing?'...and his little whistle tune! With plenty of head nodding! ;D Used to nickname him Noodle... cos he looked like he had a noodle on his head!
 
Aw, those pics are great Helen :smitten: I especially love that one of Ben in the snow, what a lovely chap! Like Noddy's choice of speech, what a character! Cute pics of Socks too, such a cute name :smitten:
