tonight while i was feeding my guinea pig its hay, i noticed one of his eyes was kinda wet around it like he was wearing eyeliner. any reason for thisss? thanksss :]
He could have been cleaning himself or sprayed himself with the water bottle. Or it could indicate a blocked tear duct, just keep a look out today and see how it is. Use cool boiled water to wipe the eye if it does looks sore and take to the vet if in doubt.
As Louise said, it's most likely to just be grooming fluid from the eyes. Sometimes it spills over the edges of the eyes before it has time to drain through the tear duct. Not an immediate concern on it's own.
