My Piggies Aiko, Sen and Teus

Aiko

Hi,

As i promised... here are the pictures.

Aiko was my first piggie. I found her in an animal shop where she was dying :'( She was way too young to be away from her mum (only a few days old). I took her home and to a vet. She was too tiny, too skinny. The vet said that she wouldn't make it. I fought for her. Fed her every two hours (even at night)...

My little girl grew and grew and became stronger. I was so happy... She became a healthy girl! She was lonely though... and slept a lot with her huge teddy-bear...

I decided to get her a friend, also a sow. I saw this picture on the website of a breeder:

I fell in love once again and decided to get her. I named her Sen. She's very sweet...

But then, i heard of a boar, who was dumped by his owners. The people from the shelter made an ex-boar from him (castrated him). At the same time I bought a "flat" for my piggies:

I decided that i had room for one pigge more... and so Teus came in my life... a very lively cute young ex-man :) My family is complete now! Enjoy the following pictures:

You put those pictures together so well they are all stunning. Beautiful piggies. Made me all emotional to look at little Aiko after the start she had and how gorgeous she is she is a credit to you O0 :smitten:

Hi nice piggies. on the cage, if i was you, i would make the glass higher, its unbelieve able how high they can jump.
 
Hi,

The glass is way too high for them to jump. In Belgium we use this cages all the time. The glass is 35 centimeters high. Its even too high for them to put their paws on the edge..

@Lindsay: Painfull how cruel humans can be isn't it. Taking away such a little thing from her mother... I'm so glad she made it and that she's happy and healthy now!
@JnenBnb: Thanks, a friend of me made the cage. It was a lot of work because the whole thing had to be made waterproof so that it wouldn't start to rot when they wee in it! But i like it and its easy to clean ( just have to take the glass out and sweep the dirt out in a bag :) )
My friend makes that kind of cages for a lot of people and everyone is very pleased about them. I'm very proud of it, i had to spare money for a lang time because it isn't cheap!
@Louise: Thanks, Aiko will always be my little baby because i spent hours and hours with her, trying to get her to eat! I love her very much! It's nice to hear that other people think she's cute too!
 
I have a very similar pig called Twinkle he is in my avatar he is a peruvian cross but has the flat face of one, looks pointed in the avatar though! He reminds me of Aiko.

My cousin lives in Belgium, think it is Northern Belgium, she runs an art gallery. Are you from there yourself or are you English? If you are from Belgium your English is fantastic! ;D

Yes, I'm from Belgium. My mother tongue is Dutch so i'm not a native English speaker. I do my best to write as correctly as I can! We learn english in school but also from surfing on the internet, songs, movies,...
I live in Northern Belgium too!
 
You could probably teach me to write in proper English! I have a bad habit of abbreviating things >:D

I used to speak to a young man from Belgium his English was great too, seems their level of education is much better than our own! :)

I won't let him get pignapped... therefore he's way too cute and sweet and... MINE :D
Every evening I sit with him on the sofa and then I have to sing his favorite song and then he falls asleep in my arms for about 15 minutes. If i forget to take him out of the cage for this ritual he starts running around and making a real fuss in the cage :D

35cm is only 1foot here, so they can jump it lol. My pigs, when i had them, could jump well over that.
