I looked after some piggies a few months ago when i provided a piggy train from bury sown to salisbury and when I got them they came with vetbed for their cage, which was my first experience of it and I loved it so I finally bought some for my girls outdoor hutches.
I have a 2 storey 6ft long hutch so needed lots of the stuff so bought a 5m x1.5m roll from the bedding box. It took a little while to come as the lady phoned me to say she had started to cut it into pieces for me whereas I needed it as a roll so she got some more and actually sent me the non slip stuff even though I had only paid for the slightly cheaper green backed one so was extremely happy.
I cut the vetbed to size using pigpogs very helpful guide on the main website (and my boyfriends help as me and stanley knives dont go very well together!)
When we first rolled it out it looked like I was re carpeting my lounge since it was so big!
My boyfriend cut 4 lots so that I have spares while the others are in the wash and my piggies love it! I have seen them lying down on it in the middle of the hutch and are popcorning around alot more!
Here are some photos of the upgraded hutches and my piggies!
The technical bit of cutting it up (and my OH modelling the shorts and socks look!)
Ruby on the new vetbed:
Jess on the vetbed trying to stuff a carrot in her mouth!
Rum contemplating whether to stuff the carrot in her mouth!
Jess being camera shy!
