none of them kept still for a second, i thought lilly pad was skittisk, tinky is terrible wont come up to * or allow to picked up and she bites *** did the last owners do, i really need with this one guys its making me so frustrated but its not her fault she must of had a worse life than i was told, she came from my little cousin in a cage that wasnt always clean much at all, and she was only handle by a child so just image how much squeezing :(

I love your albino himalayan piggy! She's beautiful and reminds me of my old piggy Itchy. x)

I can't really help with biting as I've never had a big biter guinea pig. I've only been bitten accidentally or when I accidentally tugged a knot on my coronet piggies hair.
I would suggest for them being skittish to hold vegetables at their cage and wait for them to come to you then give it. They learn very fast. My youngest boars would never coem to me and now they always do, usually before I'm even up the stairs as they wait for their veggies.

well i just *** know what my lil cousin did to it to be so scared and frighten

My Miss Mabel was very skittish and bitey when I first had her. She was 5 months old and I was her 5th home :( so I can't blame her, poor little thing. She settled over time and now we have lots of cuddles :) she is still the manic, zoomy one....but that's just her! she still occasionally gives me a warning 'nip' but not out of fear....she's just a naughty stroppy girl at times:x
ps. love your piggles! what cuties xoxox) x

try talking softly, get down to there level so you dont seem so big, and move slowly :), and hold out your hand before you try to pet.

thats what i do with dogs and horses :)

bribery with veg would help too I'm sure :). and cute piggies :)

its just so frustrating its like my other pigs are trying to copy her, now having three is making me want four lol

Thanks for sharing Megan they're all sooooo gorgeous x)x)x)

Time and patience will help Miss Tinky.....everytime you go to pick her up have a little treat (even if only a tiny piece of cos lettuce) she'll then learn that your hand is a nice hand....a treatie hand :)

the others know they are nearly jumping out the cage when i go to it, its like wow calm down they go nuts with the jumpin and the noises its so cute, however not when they mistake ** hand for food for there finish so quick and i dont realise

i tend to say NO gently and they usually look up at me......with cute little faces......sowwwy mummy!
They do tend to settle down as they get older too :)

It may take some time but you'll get there with persistence and patience, she'll learn to trust you. x
