I wanted to see if anyone has some advice about my pigs. I have two pigs. One is about 4 months old (a rescue) and is sooo noisy! She squeaks, popcorns and purrs like crazy 24/7 :) (A very happy piggy)

My other piggy is an unkown age but I am guessing around 6 months or so. (she is pet store bought.. I know bad bad bad. But I was at the store and they were handling her so horrible and she was in a tiny cage, I had to save her!) I got her in late december and since then she has NEVER make a peep!
She doesn't even make a sound when my other one is squeaking away!

The only sounds she does make is like a sneeze, but isn't. Its like she blows air really quickly out of her nose and sounds like a "huff". And she cries very loud (it sounds horrible) when I pick her up. But as soon as she is in my hands she is fine and enjoys being cuddled and pet. She has been doing that since I got her. Besides her being quiet as a mouse, she is very active and eats and drinks fine.

I am a first time pig owner so I don't know if this is normal. My two pigs are like day and night.

Thanks for any feedback!

I think all piggies are different, some are much more vocal than others. I have 4 piggies, and not one of them is the same, they all have their own little ways, noises and personalities.

If you think your piggy is happy and content, I wouldn't worry too much, maybe your piggy is the strong , silent type:)):)) x

Thanks :) This makes me feel better. But I am soo excited today! I saw her popcorn this morning for the first time! :))

The only other thing I can think of is maybe she is deaf? She doesn't respond to foot steps, my door opening or the crunching of the food bag. She seems to fully rely on my other pig. Its like a game of follow the leader all day long.
