Doughnut, my 7 month-old boar (the one in my avatar) was getting his chin tickled while sitting on my lap, he looked so relaxed and happy. But suddenly his spine started flinching into a curved position and he squeaked a bit. The TV was playing some odd music in another room that I think was about in sync with his flinching, was he just a bit freaked out? He looked absolutely fine after a few flinches. Usually when he is freaked out he burrs and widens his eyes.

I'm really scared, is my baby okay?!

Edit: He gets unlimited water and hay, a teacup-ful of veggies, and a little handful of Burgess Excel Tasty Nuggets Oregano and Blackcurrant every day. He is definitely not too hot or too cold because his hutch outdoors has very warm hidey areas and the weather is not very warm at the moment so it's not hot in there but his hideys are nice and warm for him to retreat to.

Hi, he is fine, don't worry. Sounds like you tickled him a little, totally normal behaviour, its a bit like a popcorn. Ours do it if you touch their sides...

I'm not sure if that's it, I had been stroking him in the same spot for a while and I stopped when he flinched. His flinches had about half a second inbetween and there were a few of them. They didn't last for long, less than a minute, but I am still worried. :(

My girl does it. It's a ticklish spot and they love and hate it at the same time. She twists herself and does a few twitches then runs off. Sounds perfectly normal. Just a guinea quirk :-)
