They wont be mini for much longer :0. I love diddy pigs.
(Love them all really ;))

Oh dear. How did you end up with the pregnant sow? Was she a miss sexed pet shops piggy?

They are very lovely.

I'm always traditional when it comes to names, things like chocolate and truffles. :)

Actualy i bred her to my boy (please dont give me oh you shouldnt do that its wrong) I'm not here for that.
I have a deep understanding on genetics and breeding, animal health during and after pregnancy etc and always study before i breed :).
I am keeping the 2 little ones x).

As you can see I'm not anti breeding but i am against bad breeders who breed willy nilly and do not care what happens to the animals they breed from or the young they produce.
I am all for rescue and have actually worked with a small animal rescue a few years back.

I am here because like you all i love my piggys x) and my other critters for that matter :).

I stuck Chocolate in front of Bears name so he is (Chocolate bear :)). I used to have rats named Toffie & fudge (well i had a few more than 2 rolleyes) one of my Chihuahuas is called Rolo for his markings :).

Mmmm. :x

Oh i was expecting more than that!
Its ok i understand that some of you (maybe all of you i havent been here long enough to know) are against breeding.
But please dont tie all breeders in with the same boot.
I'm not here to argue (as above) I'm here to share my piggys with you and see and hear about all your lovely piggys, and also to offer advice and help where i can :).

Hello :)

Thank-you for sharing your pictures. They are so cute! I love your little 'bear' :) the name really suits him :) What about Lilly for the baby, I always think of flower names for girls haha I don't know why :) x

I did have flower in my head as a name for the little girl TBH i think I'm stuck with Poppy now :). Lilly is a good name though.

While I am glad you have done some research I dont, and never will, understand why people make more piggies, when there are so many (including very young babies) needing homes. All over the UK.

On this forum you will be met with a torrent of lovely people who deal with the results of breeding on a daily basis. They, for good reason, will see no justifiable reason for anyone in the UK to make mini pigs deliberatly.

I urge you to not do so again, and truely hope this sight will show you why.

For one I would never allow any of my animals to be in a state like that! I am against animal crulety and would have hash words to say to people that do miss treat there animals! I will probably breed again but i am very strict about were my fur babies go and always keep contct with owners.
I will also direct people towards rescue (with links on my dogs site to rescue groups I'm involved with) and do support animal rescue.

Four of those rescue piggies could now have a happy home with you.

I feel I have gone off topic. Discussion of breeding is not aloud on this forum and its continued discussion is my fault. If any mods feel my posts are inappropriate please remove them. I got a little caught up in the discussion and forgot about the setting.

You have some very nice piggies, are they kept indoors or outdoors? :)

Welcome to the forum. You have four pretty little pigs there :)

We have a Pippa (so close!) who looks a little like your Peppa, her best mate is Willow (although Willow was known as Not-Pippa for the first week!)

Poppy is a lovely name too, we have a Beagle calle Poppy :)

Ive found it difficult to rescue in the past (too many rules etc) many rescues turn down perfectly good homes just because, they have kids, rent, live in a flat, have other pets etc.
(Not that I'm saying i wouldnt rescue, just that some people can be put off by that) and i dont really think i would be selected being a dog breeder aswell.

Anyway to the point, my piggys are outside in a nice shelted area against the walls, they are covered once it gets dark to keep them nice and toasty :).

I love tortoiseshell's so pretty :).

Most rescues would want you to state you wernt breeding the piggies, or intending too. And obviously provide then adiquit housing. Some may understandably be put off by the dog breeding.

:) Have you heard of snuggle safe heat pads? Theyre awesome. :)

I hope the introductions go well with your new girl. Have you done piggy intros before?
