Connie and Eliza are so greedy it's unbelievable. They snap my hand off for dandelion leaves and wheek like mad when they hear the kale bag opening. When they are eating veggies, they remind me of a vacuum cleaner! Problem is, they're getting podgy but i'm feeding them the recommended amount of food  :-\

Haha! Lmao! I could see them evouling in a couple of million years to have hovers stuck to the ends of there noses then They'll be called Guinea Elephants Pigs.

My girl Treacle is very greedy - has a huge appetite but my new girl Savannah Banana is 10 times worse!

SHe's a rescue piggie who was handed in in an emaciated state (apparently she was like a skeleton!) I've had her for 2 weeks and she has doubled in size and is extremely greedy with her food but we think that's down to the fact that she was starved as a baby and therefore treats each slice of cucumber as if it's her last - poor baby!

mine are very greedy too...when they hear the fridge open or someone cutting vegie's on the cutting board pancake and ringo starts squeeking really loud.. when i take the vegies out to them they go mad, they run around like mad until i give it to them... they are crazy about carrot.....and every other type of vegie... :D

Regarding your comment about your piggies getting podgy. As they get older they appear to get fat. Don't worry, its their natural build. Also, if they become ill (get mites etc) they have fat reserves to fight it off. If your piggies become obese and unable to move - then its time to worry.

One of my girls is a right wee greedy so and so! The other one eats because she has to and because if she doesn't there won't be any left for later on. Chubby pigs are so much lovelier though! :smitten:

I know, it cracks me up that when you first bring them home they are scared to death of a grocery bag, but soon they begin to go crazy and love the sound.

All my girlies are right greedy piggies whereas the boars arn't too bad! O0

My two girls are greedy piglets too. The vet says they're not overweight but they look like beached whales when they lie down and relax.

Thinking of calling the next pair I get Hoover and Dyson! ;D

;D ;D ;D

Merlin is also a greedy little blighter but again he is a resuce pig. They are so used to scoffing down whatever they can get while they can
Its breaks my heart that this behaviour is ingrained and that he might still have memories of those times
