Teenage Guinea Pig
on decemer 4th 2010 I got a beautiful boar named Darwin as he slightly resembled the character from G Force
He started getting lonely because in the AWFUL place I purchased him from, he was with four biological brothers (all White crested) and a very dominant teddy.
Needless to say due to awful conditions and legality problems the shop closed down within a month of opening and all the animals were rehomed.
Anyway I went to pets at home (I know I shouldn't have but I did) and saw beautiful big eyed Harvey looking at me from the glass barrier seperating us.
I took him home eagerly and awaited for Darwin and Harveys relationship to blossom. It soon did and they were the best of friends.
7 months later Darwin was taken to the vet exeemely I'll. The vet started saying that he had respiratory problems As well as pneumonia. I watched over him for the next 19 hours before waking up at 7:40 in the morning finding my precious boy dying right in front of me.
Heart broken I burried him in a part of the garden I can always see.
Harvey was heartbroken by his loss and was very sad. I tried my best for him but thought I'll be strong and I'll support you so for 3 long months I tried my best but he was getting depressed. Looking on the Internet I found a website leading to a place down the road that rehomes animals. I went there with Harvey and amazingly met my sweet new Guinea pig Loci
