My Twins are gettin braver

Hello everyone
I just wanted to let you all know that my girlies are becoming braver yipppeeee and its making me smile again xx>>> i must say ive fallen in love with them in a huge way now they are taking up space in my heart LOL adter the loss of Piggy I felt so discouraged but now I am feeling more positive as Piggy lives on through my girlies

Its also hard starting again with all the bonding and building trust because it takes a long time but I'm getting there and the girlies are responding positively step by step

Ive been cuddling them everyday whispering sweet words in their ears, lots of kisseys and snuggles and they are making happy noises when I cuddle them now which I'm so glad cos that noise indicates happiness and I want them to be happy

Also when i walk past the cage now instead of running into hiding they are staying ............brave little girlies ................ I'm so happy................ its very disheartening when you walk past the cage (and i always walk slow and carefully) they run under blanket (which indicates healthy nervous system cos they are prey animals)

I'm so happy they are feeling confident to sit at their biscuit bowl and let me walk past them. I'm trying to do it more and more to get them used to noises and movements and they are coming along well

I'm so happy

awww I'm very pleased tp hear you're smiling again!

It's so rewarding isn't it? My little lad Tyler (who I got as a pal for fuzzy) is now taking food out of my hand but isn't keen on being pickedup yet lol. He also stays chilling on the hammock when i walk into the kitchen as opposed to legging it lol! He's 8 weeks now, how old are your girls?

I'm really pleased for you hun, I always found my girls took a bit longer to come round than the boys, but the more they know you are not a big scary guinea pig eating lion, the more they will love you
