Before I left the house this morning I was cliping Freds nail's I was on the back one's. He was sitting perfectly fine... I don't know if it is my nail files or his claws but they are hard to cut! I was doing the back nail it just was not for breaking. As far as I could see it wasn't the quick and he has white nails so easy to tell! Anyways he helped I didn't even get the nail cut. He never helps, not even when the vet gave him an infection!

Now I feel bad and decided not to carry on! 8...

This may not help if your guineas live outdoors, but it was suggested to me that if you bath your guinea, his nails will be softer and may be easier to cut afterwards. Of course, easier to do in summer. Mine only get a "top and tail" in the winter.
Good luck anyway:)

He's an indoor piggie, but has very tuff nails! Either that he knows how to make me feel bad so I give up! I got one paw done lol! rolleyes
