I was cutting weege (7yo) nails and cut one if the back ones too short, I sorted it and she was fine. I got help doing her front ones because she's wriggly and they were all fine. I put her back on the floor and she's holding her front right paw under herself while she walks and keep just laying down and occasionally having the smallest teeth grind. We weren't rough but we were quick with any positions that might hurt for a while. Writing this she's cleaning herself with the paw fine but still won't walk on it. I've given it a feel over and nothing seems to be wrong. Could it just be like a pulled muscle or sore?

Teeth grinding and refusal to weight bear suggests she is in at least some discomfort so we would suggest that you see a vet

I hope she is ok

Ok so update, she's absolutely fine and I'd panicked. She was just sore cause of her age. Trust me she is a VERY vocal girl and will let u know immediately if something wrong. She stopped limping the next day and she's not one to hide illness or injury.

All piggies have the ability to hide injury so you can never assume yours doesn’t.
If she is sore due to her age, has she seen a vet for that? Older piggies with potential arthritis would benefit from daily metacam

I’m glad she has stopped limping. Keep an eye on her to make sure she is definitely pain free. A daily dose of painkillers would be of benefit if she does have arthritis.

She doesn't have arthritis she was checked not long ago, it was just holding her arm for a while. She's very difficult for nail trims and always has been so it takes a while.
