Bacon's hurt his foot! His nail got caught in the blanket (there must've been a loose thread), he's not limping or anything (he's running about just fine) but it looks quite sore, but he doesn't seem bothered by it. There was no blood, but (as I've said) the nail is bent. I will try to get a picture but I don't want to bother him to much.

Advice would be gretly appreciated, as I really don't know what to do...

He's fine! The nail had snapped (pretty badly) but it hadn't quite hit the quick (which explains why there was no bleeding) the nail is now much shorter than the rest.

I will trim their nails on Friday, and will double check any blanket for threads from now on.

When I was clipping my piggies nails on Saturday Christian had somehow split his nail right up the middle thankfully it was about 2mm away from the quick so hadn't hurt him. I needed a VERY steady hand to clip that properly so that he didn't catch it again.

On her very first playtime Jemimah managed to tear a nail out.
She left a trail of little bloody paw prints on the mat, ruined a tee shirt and aged me 10 years.
She was fine and the nail grew back nicely
