How often should I clip my guinea pigs nails? At the moment I just clip them when they seem to be getting too long, but I just would like to know if I'm doing the right thing.
Cindy's nails seem to grow so fast.

Yes you're doing fine love :)
Just don't let them get too long :{

I find my pigs nails tend to need clipping every 3 weeks. I prefer to get into a routine of nail clipping so that the pigs get used to it, so that I know when they've all had their nails done (and when they're due the next clipping) and so that the nails are kept at a healthy length. You also don't need to take much length off once you're in a routine of regular nail clippings.

There's nothing wrong with clipping as they need doing, as long as they don't get too long. I used to do that myself without problem, but I have found it is easier to keep the nails at a good length by trimming little and often.
